Hi, raw-milk lovers and supporters,
On January 14, 2009, Christine Chessen, Jeff Slay and I met with Congressman Dr. Ron Paul in his office in Washington, DC regarding raw milk crossing state lines. As most of you know, USFDA made regulations against interstate transportation of raw milk in mid-1970's and began enforcing it in 1987. A lawsuit by Ralph Nader-created Public Citizens forced the FDA to enforce the raw-milk regulation. It was a bogus kangaroo trial with no organization arguing for raw milk.
The man heading Public Citizens for about 30 years was medical doctor Sidney Wolfe who is bacteria phobic and believes the myth created by the pasteurized dairy industry in the 1930's that raw milk caused diseases.
We know from personal experience raw milk does not cause disease and we know by testimony from whistle blower Alison Eliason who worked for Knudsen dairy that in 1930's Knudsen hired writers and medical doctors to proselytize and terrorize in the media that raw milk caused typhoid and other terrifying diseases. That nonsense is believed to this day. Ralph Nader is bacteria phobic but I wanted to re-educate him and asked him to support the raw-milk bill that would soon be introduced by Congressman Dr. Ron Paul.
Dr. Scott Robinson of San Diego and I worked over 2 months setting up the January 14th meeting with Representative Paul and Ralph Nader. Ralph Nader arranged for people at his newer organization Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) to represent him at that meeting: Caroline Smith-de-Waal for Dr. Jacobson and legal representative Barry Williams. All were confirmed only 2 days prior to the meeting however, none of them showed. Instead, they sent another attorney who denied representing Ralph Nader in any manner and argued that raw milk is always dangerous and that CSPI would fight our raw-milk bill.
We had also invited Public Citizens' heads Dr. Wolfe and Joan Claybrook but they refused to open their minds and attend the meeting. Dr. Paul was very upset that Ralph Nader's representatives stood us up. He chastised the attorney for being a nanny, trying to control what is good for others. Jeff and I gave our testimonials from death to health by drinking raw milk. I gave the attorney Dr. Douglass' and my Report In Favor of Natural Milk with the hope that he would read it.

We must re-educated them that bacteria in raw milk no more creates disease than spirits controlled and made people evil during the Inquisition. The medical field's scapegoats and demons are microbes just as the Catholic church's spirits were scapegoats and demons. They both got most everyone terrorized in fear to believe without question and rationale anything they decided and commanded. Microbes are blamed for all of the diseases that industrial pollution of our food, bodies and environment cause, including medicines and especially vaccines and chemotherapy.
After Jeff, Christine and I left Congressman Paul's office, Jeff and I taxied directly to CSPI. We asked to meet with Dr. Jacobson and all who failed the meeting and we were denied until we got very low in the authority chain at CSPI. Jeff and I gave our testimonials to her and four manilla envelopes containing my Report In Favor of Natural Milk addressed to four of them and asked that the report be given due consideration.
However, the representative seemed very patronizingly cooperative rather than sincere.Within 20 days, I will issue action requests for everyone to contact your Representatives, CSPI and Public Citizens' officials, and President Obama. If you will, you may call you House Representative in Congress and ask them to co-sponsor HR778. We do not want to happen on the federal level that happened with 99% of CA Senate and Assembly voted for our raw milk bill when Governor Schwartzenegger vetoed the bill.
