Joy Douglas, a hairdresser in Denver, Colorado decided to dye her poodle Cici pink to generate awareness for breast cancer. Being a considerate owner, she used organic beet juice to dye the dog. The animal rights groups in Denver didn't like this very much and decided to punihs Joy with a $1,000.00 ticket. More on the story here.
